I would give 10 stars if they had it! They came out so quickly and Will kept me informed through the whole process of fixing our A/C in sweltering weather. Scott and Will worked in scorching heat to complete the installation. Then Scott came back for 2 more hours to make sure everything was to his standards. These men and this company are simply the best A/C company I've ever dealt with. I'm 61. I've dealt with a lot of them so this is saying something.

The house we bought a few years ago had a completely new system installed. We found H&W because they marked the unit with their inspection complete paperwork at the time of inspection and a annual follow-up letter. I called early morning before most businesses open and left a message. Within 10 min I had a call back from Waylon. He arrived at our house within a few hours to diagnose our A/C issue. He immediately found the problem and asked me to cone out to see what he had found. Because our unit was still under warranty he informed me that the parts would be covered and we would be paying for the Diagnostic, labor, and freon. I am very familiar to A/C labor and repair trends due to having several family members outside the area in this line of work. H&W pricing is VERY fair. He informed me that it may take a few days to recieve the part from warehouse after order. He remained in contact with me to update the status and immediately set a appointment with me to return and finish the job. When he returned he brought the A/C tech (Will) who originally installed the system in the home before we bought it. Since it had been almost 5 years I was a little surprised. Most businesses have high turnover especially in Hurricane torn areas. IMO this is a testament to the quality of business they have and the dedicated employees. I will continue to have H&W conduct our annual service and recommend them to anyone in the local area. A professional business and expert professional employees.

Why a 5 star review, cuz there aint a 6 score allowed! I Love H&W Heating and Air. I have had other folks I have used before and all they wanted to do was up sell me some stuff I didn't need. Waylon and the crew show up when they say they will, do what the say the will at a fair price. What more do you want? So you can pay more, get upsold or you can get fast, honest service at a fair price?

Three times they have helped me! Just last month I contact them on a three day weekend because I had no AC, and they showed up at 8:00 am on a Sunday morning to save the day! Woohoo! May be Competent. But weak on scheduling. I was sent a reminder for maintenance and I scheduled 2 possible dates. He Neither phoned to confirm nor to cancel. The dates came and went, no show, And I was at home throughout. Several days later I received an enquiry as to why I had not scheduled. So I again responded that I had scheduled, With a screenshot to prove it. No response. What is going on here?

Waylon and crew at H & W were extremely helpful to us when we began having issues with two AC units. The pump in our mini split on our sun porch burned out twice and had to be replaced and one of our main units out side kept shutting down and having to be reset every couple of days. They came out and resolved all of the issues so that all units are now running smoothly. They were here when they said they would be, worked diligently to diagnose the issues correctly, ordered the parts and got them installed. They were always courteous, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their work. They also installed two other units for us when we had a major remodeling project and did a great job. They are professional in their work, have reasonable rates and appreciate their diligence in finding the source of the issues we were having and getting them repaired as quickly as possible. A pleasure to work with and highly recommend H & W Heating and Air!

I’ve been with H&W for almost three years. Waylon was recommended by a friend. We had an issue and first called One Hour Air who we had a maintenance contract with. One of the units wasn’t working and the One Hour Crew basically said I needed a new unit and new inside vents...about 14,000. I called Waylon and he fixed the ac unit with a .25 cent fuse! Been with him ever since.

Within the past year, I have had a few issues with my HVAC system. First go around, I contacted a different company who came by to access the issue and repair. For the time and labor involved (less than an hour) I feel I paid an outrageous amount but it needed to be done (summer time in the Panhandle of FL). The second issue, which turned out to be a faulty capacitor was handled by Waylon at H&W. Again another less than hour job to access and fix the issue but this time Waylon explained why this fix would be a "Band-Aid" to a bigger problem and advised looking into replacing my unit soon due to it's age and wear. All in all this cost me a third of the price from the previous visit by the other company.Fast forward to this past week, I contacted H&W and another company to get a quote for HVAC replacement. The first company came by and gave a detailed review of what would be done. H&W did the same but forwarded me the quote same day. The other company didn't get back to me until 3 days later, needless to say they missed out. Waylon and his professional team came by and completed the job, ran through everything they took care of and even followed up on additional questions I had at the end.You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not contact them for any HVAC issue, big or small.

Amazing. Always a joy to work with Waylon at H&W Heating and Air. He is always so quick to respond to our needs. Our tenant notified us last night that the A/C wasn't cooling. Waylon was at the property in less than 24 hours. We had a bad capacitor. He replaced it in less than an hour and it works like a champ. Honestly, this is the best company in town. Honest, professional, very punctual and extremely nice. We had an issue at our house a few weeks ago with the unit leaking. We called to see if there was anything we could do and he explained how to clear the clogged line with a shop-vac. We did the best we could but it wasn't perfect. He stopped by our house while we were at work the next day and checked on it (external drain line) and cleared it out the rest of the way for us. Just because he's an amazing guy. He really is. Nobody better than Waylon and Scott at H&W Heating and Air. Don't waste your time looking around. Just hire H&W. You won't be sorry.

As always, H&W upheld their reputation for impeccable customer service and extremely fast response time. We noticed our heater was blowing cold air and called Waylon at 4:45pm. He was at our house by 5:15 and although he didn't have the replacement parts in his truck (they were unit specific), and the store was closed for the night, Waylon was able to do a work-around to make the heat work until he could get the parts he needed the next day and repair the unit. By 9:45 the next morning, the parts were replaced and the heater working perfectly. Waylon explained what happened and even explained to us, how the unit works to start the heating process and where the process was broken. H&W Heating and Air has ALWAYS been quick to respond to our needs (always within the hour) and VERY professional in demeanor. Waylon is wonderful about explaining to us what is wrong with our unit and how he will fix it. This is why we will never call another company for our heat and A/C needs. It was an unusually temperate winter week and we needed to cool the house off. When we turned the air conditioner on at our house, it wouldn't cool. We called H&W and even though it wasn't too hot, Waylon was there within the hour and had it fixed within 2 hours of our call. He took us outside and explained what he had to do and the reason why it wasn't working and we completely understood when he was done. He is wonderful to work with!!! THEN, 2 days later our tenant called from one of our rental units and they couldn't get the unit to cool. We called H&W and again, Waylon was there within the hour. He cleaned the dirty condenser coils and refilled the freon and voila! Cool condo. H&W is the ONLY heating and air company we will EVER use. Wonderful customer service and communication with lightening fast response times, EVERY TIME. Awesome!!!
